O escritor chinês Liao Yiwu recebeu o Prémio da Paz do Comércio Livreiro Alemão 2012. Trata-se de um prémio concedido pelo comércio livreiro alemão desde 1950.
Liao Yiwu, também repórter, músico e poeta, nasceu, em 1958, em Sichuan. Parte da sua obra está traduzida para alemão, polaco, francês e inglês.
